This is a Music Review Blog that especially features upcoming Music Artists, New Music,
Events/Concerts & more. It is open to everyone, though we aim to specifically put the spotlight on
South African Music Artists! I plan to feature Young, New & Upcoming South African Music Artists
as well as any established local Music Artists; all genres and forms of Music will be included.
The focus will mainly be on New Music releases, and there will also be posts for promoting any Events/Concerts & Music News. I will also include a segment reviewing some International Music Artists!

My name is Simoné Els (Née Nel); I am currently the manager at a local Professional Music Production and Recording Studio - Mark 7 Studios, based in Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa. Along with having an absolute passion for the Music Business, I myself am also a multi-instrumentalist;
I've gained a lot of performance experience as a musician on many instruments.

From 2011-2016, I had the honour of playing Clarinet in the acclaimed - South African National Youth Orchestra and have played in various other orchestras and ensembles in my 25+ years as a musician, including UPSO, Opera2000 and PSO {Pretoria Symphony Orchestra}. I obtained a Music Degree from the University of Pretoria and have specialised in Clarinet, Saxophone, Piano & Music Theory. I have over
10 years experience teaching Music and have taught at quite a few prestigious, Private Schools in Pretoria. Personally, I also love singing and have some classical vocal training; I enjoyed having the opportunity to do Vocals on quite a few songs produced at our Studio. I have experience singing in various choirs as well.

I, the founder of 'SA Music Review' - @sim1els - am the main Music Reviewer, but I have plans
